As reported in Inside Bay Area, Los Angeles-based psychic Dani Pedlow claims that she assisted Tracy police in solving the case. Pedlow asserts that she predicted the location where the little girl's body would be found. For this supposed assistance, she believes she is entitled to a portion of a $30,000 reward. Pedlow sent a letter to the Tracy Police Department, telling them so. However, Tracy Police deny that Pedlow contacted them for anything more than the reward, "We never reviewed or utilized any information from a psychic during this investigation," Tracy police Sgt. Tony Sheneman said. This is fortunate, since there is no historical evidence to suggest that psychic detectives have successfully assisted in any case, but there is plenty of evidence to suggest that they have hindered investigations, and caused additional pain to grieving families. Pedlow now claims she is being snubbed by the Police. Ironically, Pedlow's press release claims that she 'saw' the perpetrator, whom she describes as "him". However, Sunday School teacher Melissa Huckaby will stand trial for the crime. |

I've watched a reality show about psychics helping police but there are only a few clues that can be used. Although as this post said, from the research papers there is no history about a psychic closing a case.
